5 stars for this Storm Guard. Nothing was too much for JD and his crew - he was very knowledgeable and consultative, no hard sales pitch and integrity throughout. He also made sure the crew swept for tacks / nails etc our house 3 x over after they were finished and they still contact us every now and again to make sure everything is good. Jd is as solid as they come. I had many companies come through here to give me quotes on my roof and there was only one guy that I felt comfortable with. He walked me and my wife threw all the steps needed to get the insurance the paperwork they needed to get the claim processed and taken care of. They had great craftsmanship and amazing follow up.
We replaced a very large roof (6600 sf) this month with all kinds of complications (very steep, no access for mechanical loading of roofing materials, plenty of dormers and skylights), and of course in a high fire risk area.I got quotes from 4 firms that all had many glowing reviews, and had all of them revise the quotes to make apples-to-apples comparisons with the exact same roofing materials (we chose premium products) and specs.JD was our main contact during this process and was extremely polite and helpful. Their evaluation was extremely thorough, with a detailed report with photos showing the issues on the roof. He was the only roofing vendor to suggest a ridge vent, which we researched and agreed it would be ideal for our situation.The quotes had a very wide range ($54k to $79k) and my experience managing vendors made me very wary of choosing the low bidder, but I talked with JD some more and read the reviews in detail. They were $9k less than the next closest bid, and the contract was detailed and complete.The main job took 3 days and I cannot believe how professional they were throughout. Explaining what to expect, keeping me updated, cleaning up daily, and the final cleanup was perfect. Follow up work 2 days later included new gutters in one part of the house and some touch up work. At the review I could find nothing to complain about.I recommend them highly to anyone.
