I hired Roof Repair 99 after a positive initial conversation with Tom Watt. The scope included installing a Max vent, opening soffits for attic ventilation, replacing chimney flashing, and addressing gutter drainage issues. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.The main priorities — improving attic ventilation (as outlined in a home inspection) and resolving gutter issues — were not met. The soffits opened do not connect to the attic, and no proper assessment was done. Flashing was initially installed over the old one and only corrected after I raised concerns. Despite early communication about the importance of gutter issues, they were ignored until the end, when I was told a full replacement was needed — something that could’ve been identified from the start.A new leak appeared in the veranda roof shortly after the work, possibly due to how access was handled. I reached out multiple times after the invoice was paid but received no response.Overall the project lacked the professional judgment and oversight I had expected.

Great experience! Tom is very responsive to questions and was quickly available to inspect and repair a leak in my skylight. After a few days of heavy rain and snow, not a drop of water was seen coming in through the skylight. Tom also repaired it at a very reasonable price. I recommend him for your roof repairs and I will call on him again if needed.
