Abbas from Central City Roofing came onsite to my home in order to evaluate the culprit that was behind the water leak in my sunroom. He did a thorough search on my roof and repaired it right on the spot. Was fortunate to have Abbas at the neighbours doing emergency roof repair after the major storm that hit Ottawa in May 2022. He asked if I would like him to assess my damage and provide an estimate on the spot. Always weary of reacting to contractors I do not know, I took him up on it based on a very reasonable estimate and knowledge. He used waterproof roof membrane and secured it very well. Stated would be good for many weeks (up tp 2 months) until I could get permanent repairs done. Approx. half of the roof lost all shingles and was down to plywood.*** UPDATE *** Another contractor assigned by the insurance company was on-site to assess emergency siding and roof repairs and commented on how well of a job Abbas did. Stated that very good materials were used that are actually rated to 6 months (I'll have permanent repairs done long before that!) and was secured very well compared to other poor repair jobs! So this was a great vote of confidence in Abbas and put my mind at ease.
